Our Mission

Grace Adventures is a year-round Christian organization in northwest Michigan working to strengthen spiritual, personal, and professional relationships for children, adults, and families through training, retreats, and camps.

We provide leadership and growth opportunities that focus on core values and change lives for the better. The experiences we create aim to improve a connection to faith, family, and community in a fun and encouraging environment.

The Shack Retreat and Conference Center

The Shack campus is purposefully designed for adults, perfect for hosting individuals, couples, and groups.  You will immediately experience the difference between an ordinary hotel and an exceptional getaway in a faith-based environment when you arrive.

Every reservation includes faith-based programming options. Guests will experience activities and programs for personal, professional, and spiritual development. Self-guided programming is provided on a variety of topics for men, women, couples, pastors, and leaders. Topics may include spiritual renewal, Biblical worldview, mental health, conflict resolution, and leadership development.

Our exceptional staff also works with groups from churches, non-profits, and businesses to create a custom experience that will meet your goals.  We can partner with you at any level- from hosting while you provide your own programming to The Shack staff facilitating your entire experience, and any level of partnership in between.
