Since our beginning, Grace Adventures has been passionate about ministering to students and families. Grace’s campus was built primarily for youth in the 1960s, and we have expanded our adult ministry options. We have been praying for how God would allow us to continue to do that more effectively.

Because of a generous legacy gift from Marv Deur, Grace Adventures has merged The Shack, a 55-bed log lodge and retreat center, into its ministries after overwhelming support and approval by the Board of Directors. We now have four campuses under one mission- to Impact People with Jesus Christ! We are excited to see how these ministries move forward together!

Grace Adventures is a year-round Christian organization in northwest Michigan working to strengthen spiritual, personal, and professional relationships for children, adults, and families through training, retreats, and camps.

It’s been a blessing to see my teenage daughter grow in her faith, serving, communication, and leadership this summer. She started the summer attending as a camper, then returned multiple weeks as a ranch hand. It’s been an amazing summer for her, and I love that she’s surrounded by hard working, gracious, Jesus-loving people! I can’t wait for next summer for her, and this one is not even done yet!

I just got back from the woman’s retreat… It was so much fun .. Food, fellowship with lovely ladies from all over Michigan and other states, lots of laughter, paint ball , archery, horseback riding… And so much more… If your looking for a good time and a great way to create a deeper understanding of your faith then this is the camp for you!

Best camping weekend ever!! My kids continually said all weekend, “this place is awesome” and “thanks for bringing us here.” I don’t know how to explain in detail how great it was. The hosts were fantastic, the pool was wonderful, the activities were fun, the staff were a pleasure, and we really enjoyed the church service too. We loved everything about it and are already planning our trip for a week next year.
