Who Can Attend the Men's Retreats?

Grace Adventures' Men's Retreats are designed just for men. Whether you are single, married, a father, grandfather, work in the church or don't attend church, these retreats are meant for you to connect with other men, have fun, and grow spiritually together. You can participate in as little or as much activity as you like. Men must be at least 18 years old.

What Does The Registration Fee Include?

In short, everything! We want things to be as simple as possible, so your registration fee includes your lodging, meals, and all activity fees. The only extra money you may need is for snacks and apparel in the Camp Store.

Seriously, we can bring our own firearms?

Yes. We encourage guys who like to shoot their own guns to bring them and ammunition. There will be times for shooting guns at our ranges. We have a rifle range, shotgun trap shooting range, pistol range, and archery range. While firearms are not in use, they MUST be locked in vehicles. No firearms are allowed in housing units. Paintball guns and gear are also permitted at our Paintball and Re-Ball courses.

Does Grace Need Individual Waiver Forms or Personal Information from my Whole Group?

When you sign up with a group contract, we do not need individual names or waiver forms for your group. If you choose to reserve hotel spots, we will need the names of your attendees when Final Numbers are due, two weeks before the retreat date.

Where Are We Housed During the Retreat?

When you register or contract your group, you can choose to stay on-campus or in one of the local hotels. Due to the large volume of people attending the Men's Retreats, Grace Staff assign housing to all groups. We cannot guarantee any specifically requested housing to groups. Hotel rooms are reserved at the Dunes Express Inn in Hart, MI. The hotel is a 10 minute drive to Grace Adventures. All hotel rooms are rated at 2 people per room. Commuter attendees are not assigned housing.

How Is My Group Eligible For The Group Discount?

Groups are given a $10 per person discount if you contract with a group of 10 or more attendees. The discount applies to on-campus and hotel attendees only.

Some of the men in My Group Have Dietary Needs, Can You Accommodate Them?

Yes. Our trained Food Service Staff are able to accommodate gluten, dairy, and nut dietary needs. If your group has some of those needs, they need to be expressed to Grace Adventures at least 1 week before the scheduled retreat date so that we can adequately prepare and order food. Other dietary needs should be brought up to our Food Service Director, Pam, at

Can I Register As An Individual?

Yes. We are currently undergoing some data systems transitions and Individual Registration should be available after January 1st. Please contact our office for more information.

How Do I Reserve Spots For My Group?

Spots can be reserved by contacting our office at 231.873.3662 or by e-mailing Brian VanTimmeren, Marketing and Sales Manager, at . If known, please have your desired weekend choice and approximate number of spots needed for your group. Once a contract is issued, a reservation is confirmed with sending in a signed contract and 25% deposit by the requested date on the contract.

What's the Guaranteed Minimum?

All contracts have a Reservation Number and a Guaranteed Minimum number. The Reservation Number is the number groups contract at, and is also their maximum number of spots number. The Guaranteed Minimum number is 90% of the Reservation Number and is meant as the "flex" number, should groups not hit their reservation number and so that Grace Adventures can adequately plan for the number of prespective people. By signing the Men's Retreat contract, groups are obligated to meet their guaranteed minimum cost. For example, if a group reserves 20 total spots for a Men's Retreat weekend, their minimum guaranteed number the group will bring/pay for is 18 total people.

What If I Need More Spots Than My Reservation Number?

Getting more spots is easy! Contact Brian VanTimmeren if your group needs more spots. If there is available space in your weekend, then we will be happy to increase your number of spots. If the weekend has filled up, any additional spots you need will go onto a Wait List. People on the Wait List will be moved into the weekend if spots open up closer to the time of the retreat.
