Men’s Retreat activities are designed to give you plenty of opportunities to compete, explore, laugh, and make memories together.

Why Grace Adventures?

Located in West Michigan near the Silver Lake Sand Dunes, Grace Adventures provides a unique setting for Christian retreats and ministry events. Our 400-acre campus gives men room to get outside, have fun, build relationships, and step away from everyday distractions.

More importantly, our experienced staff work hard to create an environment where men can encounter God, be encouraged by His Word, and return home ready to live out their faith.

What is a Christian men’s retreat?

A Christian men’s retreat is a dedicated time for men to step away from everyday responsibilities, spend time with God, grow in their faith, and connect with other men. Grace Adventures Men’s Retreats combine biblical teaching, worship, fellowship, outdoor activities, food, and fun in a relaxed environment.

Who can attend a Men’s Retreat?

Men age 16 and older are welcome to attend Grace Adventures Men’s Retreats. You can come with your church, small group, family, friends, workplace, or on your own.

Do I have to attend with a church?

No. You do not have to attend with a church. Men are welcome to come with friends, family, a small group, coworkers, or on their own.

What happens at a Men’s Retreat?

A typical Men’s Retreat includes four teaching sessions, worship, morning devotionals, meals, workshops, team competitions, outdoor activities, free time, and opportunities to connect with other men. 

What activities are available at the Men’s Retreat?

Activities can include laser tag, rock climbing, horseback riding, shooting sports, Man Games, workshops, outdoor recreation, and other campus activities. Activities vary based on weather and other factors. 

Where is the Men’s Retreat located?

Grace Adventures is located at 2100 N Ridge Rd in Mears, Michigan, near the Silver Lake Sand Dunes in West Michigan.

Where do men stay during the retreat?

Guests can choose from on-campus housing, local hotel accommodations, or a commuter option, depending on availability. On-campus housing includes cabins, the Lodge, and Retreat Center accommodations.

Are meals included with the Men’s Retreat?

Yes. Meals are included with the on-campus, hotel, and commuter retreat options. Specific meal details are provided with each retreat’s registration information.

Can I come to the Men’s Retreat by myself?

Absolutely. Many men attend with friends or church groups, but you are also welcome to come on your own. The retreat is designed to provide plenty of opportunities to meet other men and build new friendships.

Can our church attend as a group?

Yes. Churches are encouraged to bring groups of men to the retreat. Group registration options are available to make it easier for your church to register together.

Will I have to share housing with someone I don’t know?

No. It’s very rare for guests from separate groups to share housing. We do our best to keep groups together in their assigned accommodations. If a situation ever arises where guests outside your group would need to share housing, both parties will be notified before the retreat.

What is the cancellation policy?

When you register, a $25 non-refundable deposit is due per reservation. If you cancel, this deposit will not be refunded. Cancellations made within 45 days of the retreat will be charged 60% of the retreat fee. Cancellations made within 14 days of the retreat will be charged the full retreat fee.
