As a high school graduate, are you feeling confused, afraid, or pressured when it comes to what’s next?
The choice between college and the workplace is scary. With the rising costs of college tuition, going in without a plan can be frustrating and expensive. That’s why a gap year is important. Taking a gap year allows students the opportunity to gain a better understanding of themselves, have clear direction of God’s purpose for their life, and an action plan to fulfill that purpose. The Ascent Gap Year covers all of these areas while also allowing students to earn college credit.

No two students learn at the same pace or style. The Ascent Program offers a variety of ways to learn both in and outside of the classroom.

This is an optional addition to your Ascent experience. The program cost is the responsibility of the student.
Earn College Credit
Upon completion, Ascent Gap Year students are eligible to receive up to 18 credits (upon program of study) at Grace Christian University.
