Building For The Next Generation
Since our founding in 1946, Grace Adventures is passionate about seeing students, adults, and families grow deeper in their relationship with God and one another. Our campus and programs have been a place for people to step away from their ordinary life so that they can encounter God in a real and life-transforming way. However, we have seen the world continue to descend into isolation, division, and a lack of hope purpose, and godly leadership.
The need is too great and the cause too compelling for Grace Adventures to remain the same.
God has called us to change that trajectory by equipping individuals and families to be a beacon of life for Christ through building healthy relationships, evangelism, discipleship, and leadership training which serve as the foundation for godly families, healthy churches, supportive communities, and a transformed world.
One Life Touched by God can Change the World
Over the years, Grace Adventures has consistently grown to serve more and more people, allowing greater opportunities to impact people with Jesus Christ, one child, father, mother, church at a time. Our 40+ ministry programs span all age groups, group sizes, and demographics to provide unique ministry experiences for kids, adults, families, churches, schools, and businesses.
Our heartbeat is to see the lost saved, the discouraged strengthened, and the broken made whole by the living Word of God. The need to share the gospel in a Christ-centered environment is greater than ever.

"I am blessed to be able to say that Grace Adventures has ministered to four generations of my family. My mom attended camp in 1947, I attended several years and helped out as a cabin leader, all three of my children attended and my daughter was on summer staff, and now several of my grandchildren are involved. Two of them are serving in the high school leadershp program. I praise God for the way Grace Adventures has ministered to my family for over 70 years!"
- Cheryl

Growth at Grace
The current dining hall at Grace Adventures, one of the original buildings from 1966, is small and worn out. Built for children for summer use, it only seats 150 people at once resulting in the need for multiple dining shifts during meals. While we have remodeled this building as much as possible we are beyond its maximum capacity as we regularly feed over 400 people per meal in three separate service times.
Just as quality family time happens around the dinner table, when guests are not able to dine together we lose an opportunity for people to connect and build relationships with one another.
The Heart of the Need
"I don't come from a Christian family, I just came to Grace Adentures to learn about leadership and how to get out of my comfort zone. I started coming here and at first it was weird and awkward, but this year I connected and become solid with God. The Grace Adventures model of impacting people with Jesus Christ is true, because my life has been changed and I have been impacted."
- Zach, former summer camper

Legacy of Stewardship
At Grace Adventures our program fees and alternate income sources cover 100% of our operating expenses.
That means that every dollar that is invested in the ministry by individuals, families, businesses, and foundations goes straight into scholarships for campers, annual program, equipment upgrades, and capital projects.
Amid 2020 and the COVID-19 pandemic, Grace Adventures was able to complete $1.86 million of fundraising payments and emerge from the hardest season of ministry in our history debt-free.

Building A Legacy for Future Generations
The major project in this campaign, a new dining center, will offer a world-class dining experience for both children and adults. Through having sufficient seating for all guests to dine together we will gain at least 6 additional hours of program ministry time every day.
Additionally, through a ministry-centered design, we will also be able to incorporate programming into meal times for a more integrated experience. This may include events, worship and teaching sessions, and themed activities.
An improved kitchen and dining room will allow us to enhance menus, provide a more comfortable experience for adults, and serve multiple groups at once. Overlooking Upper Silver Lake, the new dining center will turn meal times into another opportunity for ministry to happen.

Campaign Goal
Grace Adventures has been working to establish project costs as we plan to move forward with the dining center.
- Construction, finishing, landscaping, and more for 21,000 square foot dining center: $7 million
- Furnishing dining center including tables, chairs, and appliances: $1 million
- Necessary infrastructure updates: $500,000
- Grace Adventures' annual fundraising needs for duration of the campaign (three years): $1.5 million

"Grace Adventures is where God met me as real and relevant. I get excited about Grace because I recognize God's faithfulness over the years and years, in other people's families and now watching how God has been good and faithful through camp in my family. It is a reminder that God is growing families and growing a family of believers through Grace Adventures."
- Kate, former camper, summer staff, and church ministry leader

Future Projects to Increase Impact
Replacing our original cabins will bring our year-round capacity up to approximately 400 beds, increasing bathroom space, and creating a more relational environment for groups through joint meeting rooms. These Cabins will be significantly more comfortable for adults than our current cabins while still meeting the needs of children.
